Luke Parker Defends, Well, Everything in New ‘The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All’

*Warning: Spoilers ahead*

There’s no denying that Mike Johnson was the low-key breakout star of tonight’s The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All. However, we can’t stop thinking about Luke Parker, who opened up about his dramatic return in the highly anticipated reunion episode.

Here’s what you need to know: On season 15, episode 11 of The Bachelorette, Luke crashes Hannah Brown’s final three rose ceremony…with an engagement ring.

However, in a surprising turn of events, Brown is done putting up with the 24-year-old villain. “Yes, you will leave because I’ve already sent you home,” she says. When Chris Harrison appears out of nowhere, he shows Luke out before sitting down with him in a Men Tell All interview.

During the segment, Luke explains that he couldn’t leave Greece without getting closure. When Harrison brings up his final one-on-one date, Luke reveals that Brown misinterpreted what he said. In fact, he wasn’t judging her when he asked if she’s sleeping with the other men.

When Harrison asks if he’s still in love with Hannah, Luke says, “My feelings for Hannah haven’t changed. I still love her.” Nevertheless, he knows that she’s not “my person.” As for his Bachelorette journey, Luke admits that he “wouldn’t change a thing,” since he’s thankful for the opportunity to “grow as a man.”

Although Luke tries to apologizes to the other contestants for his behavior, Connor reveals that he won’t accept his apology until Luke proves that he can change.

When Brown joins Harrison onstage, Brown admits that her feelings for Luke were, in fact, real. However, she admits that it stemmed from her insecurity about being the Bachelorette. Since Luke said everything she wanted to hear, she felt safe with him.

“I deserved so much more than what I put up with,” she says.

When Harrison gives the floor to Luke, he apologizes before thanking Brown for teaching him how to self-reflect. Although she “appreciates those words,” Brown admits that he has some serious growing up to do.

So, will Luke redeem himself in Mexico for BiP? We seriously hope not. The two-night finale of The Bachelorette kicks off on Monday, July 29, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
