Exclusive: ‘Bachelor’ Alum Bekah Martinez Has Some Thoughts About This Season of ‘The Bachelorette’

Once upon a time, Bekah Martinez was a 22-year-old with a stellar pixie cut on Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season of The Bachelor. Since then, she’s become a mom, the co-host of the “Chatty Broads” podcast and much more. But that doesn’t mean she’s no longer a Bachelor Nation fan. Au contraire.

The now-24-year-old Bachelor alum, who recently partnered with Peanut (the app that brings together like-minded moms) to do a live taping of “Chatty Broads” with her co-host Jess Ambrose, was more than happy to share all of her Bachelorette season 15 feelings with PureWow.

So how does she think Hannah Brown’s season is going so far? “At ‘Chatty Broads’ we have A LOT of opinions about this current season as do many, many other Peanut mamas,” she quipped.

Martinez went on to joke, “All we will say is, we had no idea when we started this season that Luke P. was actually the Bachelorette! We feel like this should have been made more clear to us by the network considering he has 95% of the screen time.”

She and Ambrose focused on the Peanut app and specifically on post-natal sex during their live chat, which we all know kinda ties into Bachelor Nation. (Ahem, fantasy suite?) "Their app also has forums where moms can have open discussions and one of the most frequently brought up topics - you guessed it—sex!”

This felt like the perfect segue for her to get on the subjects of Tyler C. and the next season of The Bachelor

“Speaking of sex? Tyler C.,” Martinez said. “And if Mike does not become the next Bachelor, we are going on strike.”

“Roll tide, or however that goes,” she concluded, referencing Brown’s passion for the University of Alabama.

In summation, she thinks there’s a plot twist and Luke P. is the real Bachelorette—oh and, Tyler C. is hot and Mike is the best. Seems accurate to us.
