Lance Bass Dishes on His Newborn Twins, His Favorite Holiday Traditions & More

Listen up, folks: Lance Bass is sharing rare details about his newborn twins, his favorite holiday traditions and his dedication to the boy band movement.

The 42 year-old singer recently sat down for an exclusive interview with PureWow, where he discussed his personal and professional life. Bass began by addressing the elephant in the room, since he and his husband, Michael Turchin, recently welcomed twins Alexander and Violet via surrogate.

He admitted that their holiday plans include staying home and soaking up baby cuddles. “With the arrival of our twins, Michael and I will mostly be spending quality time at home with our parents,” Bass told PureWow.

When asked about his transition to parenthood, the proud dad revealed that he has a fantastic support system. “We’ve actually been prepping for years to become parents, but more recently, I’ve been reading a lot of parenting books and trying to talk to as many parents as I can for their advice,” Bass said. “My husband is actually a twin himself, so talking to his mother and getting her advice has been really helpful.”

With the holidays around the corner, Bass also opened up about his favorite rituals. “[Michael and I] have a lot of traditions, but I would say my absolute favorite is decorating the tree each year,” he explained. “Early on in our relationship, we started collecting ornaments from our travels so we can look back on all of the places we’ve been to together. So, we love taking out these ornaments each year and reminiscing on those memories together.”

As for his professional life, Bass discussed the possibility of an NSYNC reunion. Although there’s nothing in the works (at least not yet), he confirmed that *something* is coming soon. “I always love reuniting with my fellow NSYNC members whenever I can, and while we have no plans for a reunion tour right now, I have got something up my sleeve for next year that I’m hoping will help revitalize the boy band movement in America,” he added. “Stay tuned!”

Bass proceeded to share details about his timely partnership with Starbucks Holiday Presence Exchange, where he offered tips on how to create lasting memories. “My favorite time to connect with family and friends is over a cup of coffee,” he said. “So, I’m sharing some of my favorite activities and tips that are easy to do at home—in person or virtually—while sipping on your favorite Starbucks holiday coffee to encourage more meaningful connections with your loved ones.”

We’re totally stealing Bass’s ornament tradition.
