Just when we thought her iced lilac coif was the trend of 2019, Lady Gaga pulls a fast one.
The A Star Is Born lead showed up to the Golden Globes red carpet in a large, er, voluptuous cornflower blue gown by Valentino, which she paired with Tiffany & Co. jewelry (over 100 carats of diamonds total, just saying) and...cornflower blue hair.
How'd she get the look? According to a press release, her personal hairstylist Frederic Aspiras used a combination of Joico semipermanent hair colors in sky and rose on her bleach-blonde base. And FYI, Aspiras is partnering with the haircare brand for monthly how-to’s and color formulas that he uses on Gaga’s locks, so we can all have powder blue hair if we want. (We want.)
So, are iced blue locks about to blow up in 2019? Or is it a "match your hair to your dress" type of thing? Only Gaga will tell.
You know what they say: There can be 100 people in a room, and 99 of them won't have blue hair. But Gaga will, dammit.
