Are Lady Gaga & Adele Collaborating on New Music?

Fans are convinced that Lady Gaga is collaborating on new music with Adele, and you won’t hear us complaining.

It all started yesterday when the “Shallow” singer, 33, posted a cryptic message on Twitter.

This leaves us with two questions: Is Gaga hinting at a potential collaboration with Adele? Or is she simply gushing over her fellow musician? While we don’t have an answer, the internet has quite a few theories.

First, the news comes just a few days after rumors began circulating about a possible duet between Adele and Beyoncé. The gossip started thanks to One Republic frontman Ryan Tedder, who teased new music featuring the iconic duo in a candid interview.

“We have one song featuring Beyoncé and Adele with a Chris Martin piano solo on the bridge,” he said.

Although Tedder later claimed that he was kidding, it’s very possible that Gaga was referring to the supposed mix-up with Adele, and not a collaboration.

On the other hand, Gaga could be blatantly teasing what’s to come. She previously titled her fifth studio album Joanne in honor of her dad’s sister who tragically passed away, so it wouldn’t be totally out of the norm for Gaga to name her next record after another inspiring woman (aka Adele).

The timing seems just about right for Gaga, since she released Joanne back in 2016. And now that she’s officially done promoting A Star Is Born, we have no doubt that new music is in our near future.

We can pinpoint a million reasons why this is a good idea.
