Kristen Bell & Idina Menzel Are Getting Stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Winter is coming to Hollywood…well, sorta.

Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel are set to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The joint ceremony will take place on November 19 and will honor the two actresses, who are reprising their roles as Anna and Elsa in the highly anticipated sequel Frozen 2 (which hits theaters on November 22).

It’s not every day we see a double Walk of Fame ceremony, but according to Ana Martinez—producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame—the decision was a no-brainer.

“The Hollywood Walk of Fame makes an extra special effort to pair artists who work together or are related with their stars next to each other,” she said in a statement. “We are thrilled to place Kristen and Idina, who are the stars of the upcoming Disney film Frozen 2, together in front of Hollywood’s most historic theaters.”

Bell and Menzel will each receive an individual plaque. The stars will be adjacent to one another and will be located alongside Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell, Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein.

In addition to voicing Anna in Frozen, Bell currently stars on the NBC sitcom The Good Place. After playing the lead in 2004’s Veronica Mars, she later reprised the character in an all-new series for Hulu which aired earlier this year.

Menzel is widely known for singing the Oscar-winning song “Let It Go.” However, she originally got her start on Broadway and even won a Tony Award for playing Elphaba in Wicked.

If you need us, we’ll be crossing our fingers for an impromptu performance of “For the First Time in Forever” during Bell and Menzel’s Walk of Fame ceremony.
