Kelly Ripa Posts Rare Photo of Dad and Camera-Shy Mom in ‘Their Natural Habitat’

Looks like Kelly Ripa spent some much-needed quality time with her parents this weekend. And she even documented parts of her visit on Instagram.

On Sunday, the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host shared a slideshow of photos on her personal social media account featuring both of her parents. “I got to spend Saturday with my folks in their natural habitat,” she captioned the post. “Mom proved as elusive to capture as always. Dad’s viewers choice award also took no chances. (Hepa filters. Windows open. Double masks. Still socially distant.)”

In the snaps we see her father, Joe, smiling while she stands in front of him with a face mask. The next two photos were attempted shots at getting a selfie with her mother, however, the attempts didn’t prove very successful as alluded to in the caption.

This is one of the first times the All My Children alum has shared shots of her family on IG since the summer. Back in July, the television host posted a sweet tribute video packed full of never-before-seen family photos to celebrate Joe’s birthday.

“Happy Birthday to the man who taught me how to wear a cross body purse!” Ripa captioned the post. “I love you dad!” The two-minute-long clip features everything from solo shots of her dad as a young man, to snaps of Joe spending time with his grandchildren and even one of him wearing a crossbody bag (hence the caption).

We need more Joe content ASAP.
