Katy Perry Says She’s ‘Never Too Pregnant for a Crop Top’ in Latest IG Selfie

Who says pregnant women can’t wear crop tops? Not Katy Perry

On Monday, the 35-year-old singer shared a series of photos to her personal Instagram account that featured herself rocking merchandise from her upcoming album, “Smile.” The photos included the soon-to-be mother sporting a crop top, hat and (of course) a mask all embroidered with the album’s name.

“Never too pregnant for a crop and never too good for a mask,” she captioned the slideshow. “Get ur #SMILE game on (tho don’t forget darling #Daisies) and head to the link in my bio for your merch bundles!” That’s one clever way to sell merch.

Over the weekend, the “Never Worn White” singer opened up about the crop top, stating it was her favorite piece from the collection, which features everything from hoodies and graphic t-shirts to bags and face masks. "I was like, I wanted to wear this piece of merch that I had made for my record, but I was like, ‘It's a crop top...Can I wear that? I'm gonna be a mom,’” she said during a virtual appearance on the Kyle and Jackie O radio show. “ I can still be young and fun and wear a crop top!”

Since announcing her pregnancy in March, Perry has shown off her maternity style in a variety of outfits. Need we remind you of her Women's Cricket T20 World Cup 2020 final performance? She wore three separate pink outfits, including a sequined sleeveless romper with a flower design and a pink cape, a long-sleeve, pink and purple silk skater dress with a female Venus symbol pattern and a purple mini dress with sparkling pink symbols and over-the-knee platform boots.

Capes, crop tops and baby bumps? We’re totally here for it.
