It's official: Katie Holmes has taken a drink from the fountain of youth. Because apparently, her face has barely changed over the past few decades.
In honor of her 44th birthday on December 18, the Alone Together star posted a rare childhood pic on Instagram, and we couldn't help but notice that she looks almost exactly the same as her current-day self. She captioned the post, "Thank you for all of the kindness on my birthday. I do love being a December baby."
In the snap, a younger Holmes smiles from ear to ear in her festive pajamas. Meanwhile, her hands appear to be hidden in a pile of red tinsel. One follower wrote, "Wow you look the same! Gorgeous smile." Another said, "What a pretty girl!! Happy birthday baby Katie!!"
If you take an even closer look at the throwback pic, you'll also notice the resemblance between Holmes and her daughter, Suri Cruise, who rocked the exact same hairstyle when she was younger.
This isn't the first time Holmes treated fans to a glimpse of her childhood. Back in 2020, the star shared a heartfelt tribute to her mom, Kathleen, in honor of Mother's Day by posting an old photo with her. She wrote, "Thank you mom for teaching me so many things and for loving me,” she captioned the photo on Instagram. “Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there!!!!!!!"
In the pic, Holmes is sporting a pair of yellow shorts and a white blouse while her hair is styled in pigtails. And not surprisingly, fans were quick to call out the similarities between her and her daughter.
One fan said, "Wow, Suri is your mini," while another added, "Suri is your twin, beautiful like her mommy.”
Yep, it looks like Katie passed down some mighty strong genes.
