Upon returning from the royal tour of Pakistan, Kate Middleton sent a special thank you note to fashion designer Khadijah Shah (the creative director of luxury brand Elan).

It all started last month when the Duchess of Cambridge, 37, traveled to Pakistan alongside her husband, Prince William. On their last day, Middleton wore a white kurti by Elan, which featured black embroidery.

After the trip, the duchess wrote a letter to Shah, who recently shared the contents on Twitter. In the note, Middleton revealed that the designer’s team picked out multiple outfits for her trip, though she ended up choosing the embroidered kurti.

It read, “Thank you so much for all of your help ahead of my tour to Pakistan. I am so grateful to you and your team for the wonderful selection you made for me to choose from—although having so many beautiful things did make decision making a little more difficult! I loved the outfit I wore, so thank you for all your time and effort.

“Pakistan really is a wonderful country, which we both thoroughly enjoyed visiting and hope to return to one day soon.

“This comes with my warmest thanks and best wishes.”

She even signed the letter with her first name, Catherine.

If you need us, we’ll be thinking of ways to get a personalized letter from the duchess herself. You know, for our scrapbook.
