You may have heard recent rumors about Kate Middleton, who was accused of being “furious” about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s exit from the royal family. Well, the palace is setting the record straight once and for all.
In a rare move, Kensington Palace broke its silence on Tatler’s cover story about the Duchess of Cambridge, which wrongly claimed Middleton is frustrated by the increased workload that resulted from Prince Harry and Markle’s announcement.
A royal family spokesperson confirmed in a statement that the report is totally false, saying, “This story contains a swathe of inaccuracies and false misrepresentations which were not put to Kensington Palace prior to publication.”
We don’t know which “inaccuracies” the palace is referring to, though we wouldn’t be surprised if it has to do with the article’s specific details about the royal family’s personal life. For example, one source implied that Middleton’s three children—Prince George (6), Princess Charlotte (4) and Prince Louis (2)—were drastically affected by Prince Harry’s departure.
