Kate Middleton Goes Super Sporty on Day Three of Her Ireland Tour

Kate Middleton and Prince William might be in Ireland on official business, but that doesn’t mean they can’t have a little fun, too.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are currently on the final day of their first official royal tour of Ireland. Since touching down in Dublin, the parents of three have done everything from meet President Michael D. Higgins of Ireland’s Bernese mountain dog to sip Guinnesses while hobnobbing with the country’s foremost creatives. They even stopped by Teagasc Research Farm in County Meath to help promote sustainability.

Today, the royal couple visited Salthill Knocknacarra GAA Club in Galway, where they were shown some hurling and Gaelic football skills and even partook in the activities themselves.

The duchess looked sporty in a red knit sweater, black jeans and her New Balance X Sweaty Betty sneakers, while her hubby donned a padded jacket and trainers.

The GAA has over 2,200 clubs in all 32 counties of Ireland. Every summer, the inter-county All-Ireland Championships in hurling and football capture the attention of the Irish public, and around 1.5 million people attend the GAA Championships from May to September.

Earlier in the day, the duo stopped by Tribeton to watch Galway 2020 acts perform, including Livefeed, Hoops and the Galway Community Circus. The Cambridges then made their way to Tig Coili, a family-owned, Irish pub on King Street in the city center.

Looks like Kate and William are ending their trip on the right foot. Sorry, we had to.
