It’s Will and Kate’s 8th Anniversary (!) So Naturally They Celebrated with a Throwback Instagram Post

Can you believe it’s been eight years since Kate Middleton and Prince William tied the knot at Westminster Abbey? It feels like it was just yesterday that we were waking up…at the crack of dawn…to watch them become Mr. and Mrs. Cambridge.

In honor of their anniversary, what better way to celebrate than do it like us plebeians and post a good ol’ Instagram throwback? The duke and duchess share some photos on the official @kensington account, and we just had to share.

The caption was simple, reading, “8 years ago today—thank you for your lovely messages on The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding anniversary!”

If you scroll through, you can see shots of the couple waving post-nuptials; walking down the aisle; a moment between Harry and Will when they both had more hair (lolz); royal bystanders cheering outside; and a flyover, because who doesn’t have a flyover at their wedding?

Of course, this isn’t the only way the couple is recognizing the occasion. At last weekend’s Easter services, Kate donned the same earrings she wore for their big day as a subtle nod.

What do we think they’ll do to celebrate? Hire a babysitter?
