Kate Middleton Pulled a Royal Repeat at Today’s Polo Match, but Not in the Way You’d Think

Kate Middleton appreciates the concept of tried and true. (Take, for instance, her love of Emilia Wickstead dresses or Alexander McQueen gowns.) So, when the 37-year-old Duchess of Cambridge stepped out alongside Meghan Markle to cheer on Prince William and Prince Harry in a polo match today, she went with an outfit formula that she already knows suits her.

Middleton arrived at the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day at the Billingbear Polo Club in Berkshire today rocking pink and red: the same color combo she looked so good in at baby Archie’s christening last weekend.

For the christening, Middleton opted for a pink Stella McCartney dress, crimson Gianvito Rossi pumps and a vermillion Juliette Botterill headband fascinator. To attend the polo match, she of course went a bit more casual.

The duchess stunned in a pink L.K. Bennett dress with flutter sleeves and a delicate floral print while she watched her hubby play and wrangled her three children, Prince George (5), Princess Charlotte (4) and Prince Louis (1).

She added a pop of vivid color with what appears to be a custom croc version of the Mulberry Lily bag in hibiscus (on sale for $1,116).

Sadly, her exact dress isn’t available, but the Kate Spade Splash midi dress ($368) is a close option, as is the Michael by Michael Kors Enchanted Bloom midi dress (on sale for $86).

Middleton completed the look with her go-to Castanñer espadrilles in brown ($113), her 18-karat-gold Catherine Zoraida Fern hoop earrings ($191) and some sunnies that looked very Ray-Ban-esque.

Prince William and Prince Harry may have been the ones playing, but Kate Middleton totally won the whole polo match with this outfit.
