Did You Notice the Mistake in Kate Middleton’s Message?

Prince William and Kate Middleton recently embarked on the Royal Train tour, where they left a special message at Euston Station in London. However, it didn’t take long for fans to notice the royals’ small spelling error.

Earlier this week, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge embarked on the unique trip honoring those who are working on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic. After chatting with transport workers about how they’ve adapted to social distancing, Middleton wrote a personal message on a service information board.

“Thank you to transport workers everywhere for keeping the coutry moving throughout this difficult year,” it read. “Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!”

We were so grateful for the gesture that we nearly missed the mistake on the third line. We’ll let you read it one more time:

“Thank you to transport workers everywhere for keeping the coutry moving throughout this difficult year. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!”

It’s not a huge deal, but Middleton left the “n” out of country. If you look closely, you’ll notice the duchess wrote “coutry,” which is likely a result of rushing.

Some fans were quick to point out another quirky element about the signage pics: Prince William is left-handed. Shortly after the royal couple visited Euston Station, they shared a slideshow of photos on their official Instagram account (@kensingtonroyal). In one of the photos, Prince William is using his left hand to add his signature.

It’s all in the details.
