This ‘Queer Eye’ Star Wants to Be the Next Bachelor

karamo brown next bachelor

If ABC is already looking for a new Bachelor after Matt James, there’s someone who would gladly volunteer for the role: Karamo Brown.

The Queer Eye star, 39, recently revealed that if producers were to approach him about becoming the next Bachelor, he’d say “yes” in a heartbeat.

“We can go for it. Let’s try it. I would…Why not?” he told Us Weekly.

The news comes just a few weeks after Brown split from his former fiancé, Ian Jordan. Although he confirmed “dating is a mess” at the moment, he also shared some advice for men who are trying to slide into his DMs.

“Not to be crude or anything, [but] sending inappropriate pics is not a way to ever engage with someone. That’s not universal for ‘hello,’” he explained. “I don’t know why guys think that’s an appropriate thing to do. So, it’s like, please keep it respectful. You know what I mean?”

Brown even gave an example, adding, “The other day, I got someone who sent me Cardi B lyrics. They literally sent me Cardi B lyrics for her new song and was like, ‘Hey, can we date?’ And I was like, ‘Why do you think this would be me?’ Like, me? You think I’m going to be like, ‘Oh, great. Cardi B lyrics. Yes, let’s date.’”

As for The Bachelor, ABC is currently gearing up for James’s upcoming season (in addition to the new Bachelorette episodes). However, we don’t see why the network wouldn’t consider nominating Brown for the franchise’s first ever same-sex season.

Your move, ABC.
