Happiness is continuing for one JoBro.
Joe Jonas is putting down his mic and getting his own series on Quibi. Fans will have a front-row seat for his travel adventures as he heads to multiple cities during the Happiness Begins tour.
The mobile-only streaming platform confirmed the news yesterday on Twitter. They stated, "Our bags are packed. We're traveling the world with @joejonas and enjoying some [coffee] while we're at it. #CupofJoe only on @quibi."
The eight-part series was inspired by Joe's second IG account, Cup of Joe, dedicated to his photography. From intimate snapshots of his family to candid shots of his travels, Jonas is bringing his used-to-be finsta to life. For the show, he will explore cities through the lens of a local guide.
"You often think you know about a certain place or a person until you take some time to dig deeper. I'm fortunate to get to travel around the world through my profession and you often see me on the other side of the lens but Cup of Joe is giving me the opportunity to dig a little deeper and point the lens at some of the world's most interesting people...and some more of the weird, fun things I'm into," he said in a statement.
The news comes after his wife Sophie Turner announced she was getting a show of her own on the same streaming service. Turner will be starring in Survive, based on the novel with the same name. The "It" couple joins an impressive line-up of celebs (like Chrissy Teigen, Jennifer Lopez and Justin Bieber, to name a few) working on projects on the platform.
Quibi is launching on April 6, 2020. Until then, we'll just be double-tapping on the latest Cup of Joe post (and jamming to Happiness Begins on repeat, of course).
