A very pregnant Jessica Simpson is taking new measures to achieve maximum comfort. And we don’t blame her.
The 38-year-old singer, who has had a pretty rough pregnancy so far (who can forget those swollen ankles?) revealed Tuesday, that one of her trips to the bathroom didn’t exactly go as planned.
“Warning…Don’t lean back on the toilet when pregnant,” the expecting mother wrote in her Instagram caption. The photo shows Simpson standing in her bathroom holding up the toilet seat, which is clearly no longer attached to her toilet.
But it doesn’t end there. Later, the soon-to-be mother of three shared with followers that she has developed severe acid reflux as a result of her pregnancy. (She can’t even sleep in her own bed comfortably! Ugh.)
In another ’Gram photo, Simpson is seen wearing sweatpants, slippers, a sweater and headband laying on a cozy recliner chair giving a thumbs-up. “Severe pregnancy acid reflux has led to the purchase of my very own sleep recliner,” she wrote. The baby-to-be will be Simpson’s third child, a little girl named Birdie.
Acid reflux, broken toilet seats and swollen ankles? Poor Jess. We hope the rest of your pregnancy gets a little bit comfier.
