Over the weekend, the 38-year-old designer threw an elaborate shower celebrating her third child—a baby girl. What was the theme (because all parties need one of course)? Birdie’s Nest.
Fans and followers quickly picked up on the (not so) subtle hint—aka the big neon sign that read “Birdie’s Nest,” and instantly began speculating that the baby’s name will indeed be Birdie. Along with the sign came flowers, flowers and you guessed it, more flowers.
With little Birdie due so soon, we can imagine Simpson is looking forward to her arrival (and finally getting rid of those swollen ankles).
