With all of the Avenger: Endgame hype these past few weeks, we’ve been asking ourselves what’s next for Marvel and our favorite MCU heroes.

While we know Captain America (Chris Evans) is donezo after this film (sad), as well as possibly Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), there are some characters who still have their own projects underway such as Black Widow. And the next to join the list? Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye.

According to a Variety exclusive, Disney’s upcoming streaming service (Disney+) is officially developing a limited series based on the archery ace Marvel character. The project is said to be an adventure series in which Clint Barton (Renner) will pass the torch to Kate Bishop.

If you’re unfamiliar, Kate Bishop is a Marvel comics character who is passed the Hawkeye baton from Barton. She is also a member of the group known as the Young Avengers.

Renner has been a part of Marvel since he first appeared as Hawkeye in a cameo in Thor and has since made an appearance in AvengersAvengers: Age of UltronCaptain America: Civil War and the soon to be released Avengers: Endgame.

Hey maybe if we’re lucky, we’ll get a Thor cameo…since Chris Hemsworth says he would be happy to continue to play the role. We can only dream.

So we’re assuming this means he doesn’t die during the final installment of the Avengers franchise…right?
