Kal Drogo and Khaleesi (aka Jason Momoa and Emilia Clarke) are back together. The duo reunited over the weekend, and we even have photos to prove it.
On Sunday, the Dune actor shared a slideshow of images on his personal Instagram account showcasing his get-together with his Game of Thrones co-star. The images—which were taken somewhere in the U.K.—featured a shot of the 34-year-old actress sitting on Momoa’s lap and another of the actor lifting her up.
“MOON OF MY LIFE. you are wonderful love u forever @emilia_clarke #smilelyeyes,” he captioned the post before giving a special shout-out to GOT creator, David Benioff: “Happy birthday Benioff you handsome generous badass Leo.” He simply signed the post, “Aloha j.” While we don’t know for sure, it appears Momoa was in town to celebrate Benoiff’s big day.
We weren’t the only ones excited to see the mini reunion. The post raked in over 2.5 million likes and eight thousand comments. One follower commented, “Look at you! How beautiful are you guys? You were my favorite in the series,” while another chimed in, “I love how much they truly care and support each other! #drogoandkhaleesi.”
In fact, one person even suggested Clarke star in the Aquaman sequel, writing, “Please tell me they replaced Amber Heard with Emilia!!!!”
Clarke also shared one of the snaps from the outing on her personal social media pages. “When your sun and stars rolls into town you check that he can still bench press a Khaleesi. @prideofgypsies,” the captioned read.
We suddenly feel the urge to binge-watch season one of the HBO drama, just to get another glimpse of these two together.
