Time to update the roster, Chris Harrison, because another Bachelor Nation baby is joining the fold.
Just days after their third wedding anniversary, Bachelor in Paradise alums Jade Roper Tolbert and Tanner Tolbert announced they’re expecting their second child. The couple shared the exciting news on Instagram with a slideshow of their family of three holding an ultrasound photo of their soon-to-be newest member.
Roper Tolbert, 32, captioned the photo of them posing on a beach, “Baby #2 is adding to our crew! We are overjoyed our bundle of love will be joining us in August! We’ve been dreaming of you for a while now, and you are already loved beyond imaginable, sweet baby.”
The couple, who met on season two of Bachelor in Paradise in 2015, married in a televised event in Orange County, California, the following January. Roper Tolbert appeared on season 19 of The Bachelor, and Tolbert, 31, vied for Kaitlyn Bristowe and/or Britt Nilsson’s hearts on season 11 of The Bachelorette. They now share a 1-year-old daughter, Emerson Avery Tolbert, and have spoken openly about their desire to welcome another child to their family.
In April 2018, Tolbert told Us Weekly they were hard at work attempting to conceive baby number two. He said, “We have just started to kind of try. We want to have our kids close in age. So, it was time to start rolling.” He went on to say that while Roper Tolbert wants three kids, they intend to keep trying until they have a boy. For now, they’ve yet to announce the gender of their bun in the oven.
Either way, with another little dude or dudette due in August, the couple is sure to have their hands full for a hot minute…Especially with two (potential) Leos under two.
