How exactly did these two become friends? According to Garten, the pair have long been fans of one another. In a 2018 interview with the Huffington Post, the chambray-clad chef revealed that she and the pop star have bonded over a wide range of topics, including boyfriends, businesses, friends and life. In 2019, Garten posted another Instagram birthday message to Swift, calling the singer a “beacon of light for women of all generations.”
“She’s very smart and very interesting and she loves her friends,” Garten has said. “She is wise beyond her years, to say the least.”
Swift and Garten also worked together for Food Networks Magazine as part of the publication's Food Network chefs and their music friends feature.
