Disney Confirms ‘Hocus Pocus 2’ Is Coming in September with the Original Cast

They’re about to put a spell on us...again!

Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy are reprising their roles as the iconic Sanderson sisters for the upcoming Hocus Pocus 2. And the studio just announced that the highly anticipated sequel will hit Disney+ on—drumroll, please—September 30.

The announcement comes about six months after Disney released a behind-the-scenes photo of the actresses on the Hocus Pocus set. It featured the stars donning their original costumes while standing in a dimly lit room covered in twinkly lights.

The caption read, “They're already running amok, amok, amok! Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy are in production on #HocusPocus2, coming Fall 2022 on #DisneyPlus. #DisneyPlusDay [Photo by]: @kennedystills.”

Besides the three leads, other cast members include Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl), Lilia Buckingham (Crown Lake), Belissa Escobedo (Don’t Look Deeper), Tony Hale (Arrested Development), Sam Richardson (The Tomorrow War), Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Froy Gutierrez (Teen Wolf), Taylor Henderson, Juju Brener and Nina Kitchen.

Anticipation has been building for this movie for quite some time. Last year, Parker teased the sequel with a shot of the movie's logo and a caption that said, “Yep. I’m ready. To run. Amok, amok, amok, amok. [candle emoji] #HocusPocus2 arrives Fall 2022 on @disneyplus Sisters??? X, SJ.”

We can't wait to see these witches back in action.
