Halle Berry’s Boyfriend, Van Hunt, Shares Sweet Tribute in Honor of Her Birthday

We love it when couples show their love for one another on social media, and as Halle Berry celebrated her 56th birthday this past weekend, her boyfriend, Van Hunt, made sure his followers knew how much he cherishes the Moonfall actress.

Hunt decided to celebrate Berry by crafting a homemade video compilation, which included rare videos, professional photos and other glimpses of the birthday girl. He shared the video to Instagram and wrote a heartfelt caption that read, “Hi, baby. It's ur bday, and against ur wishes I am screaming it to the mountaintops, and celebrating with the world the wonderful, loving, funny, and life-giving force you are.”

The musician also included a joke about how Berry's initials are the same first letters as the phrase “happy birthday.” He added, “(H)appy (B)irthday, boo. I love you with everything I got.”

Hunt's homemade film starts out with a clip of Berry behind the scenes, donning a black wig and showing off a chic outfit. This is followed by a selfie Berry took using a filter that gives her a mustache and goatee. The clip concludes with a couple of modeling photos of Berry, as well as shots from formal events.

Berry showed her gratitude in the comments, where she wrote, “Thank you my sweetheart. I love you more than words can express—you are my person, that’s a FACT! You are real silly for that freddie [prinze] mustache pic tho!!!”

And while Hunt said that Berry wanted to keep her birthday festivities low-key, she still acknowledged the day on her own account as well, where she posed for a selfie and wrote, “Feeling so much gratitude and love on this birthday! WOW!”
