Glossier Just Launched a New Skin-Care Product Called ‘Bubblewrap’—Here’s What It Does

Ooh, new Glossier alert. Prepare thy Instagram feeds.

The cult-favorite, millennial pink beauty brand (er, empire) just launched a new skin-care product called Bubblewrap. But what is it?

It’s an eye cream—no, a lip cream? The brand calls it an “eye and lip plumping cream,” so it’s both. It’s meant to be a protective layer for the most delicate parts of your face, but it also works long-term to smooth everything out like an Instagram filter.

The formula is a water-in-oil emulsion, packed with hyaluronic acid and peptides (for hydration and that plumping effect); avocado oil and squalane (for intense moisture); blueberry fruit extract (for antioxidants); plus lots of other smoothing and softening ingredients. Aside from being multipurpose to a tee, Bubblewrap also comes in a convenient little pink-and-white pump, so you can dispense just the right amount (and don’t have to stick your fingers in a messy, germy pot). It’s safe for contact lense-wearers (yay!) and, best of all, it’s cruelty-free and vegan.

The last new Glossier product was also eye-related. Are we sensing a theme here?

Bubblewrap is available online and in Glossier stores for $26 if you also feel an intense desire to fit in with the cool, dewy kids on Instagram these days.
