No, really. Longoria wore a tight and bright yellow cocktail dress by Vitor Zerbinato, which features a sweetheart neckline, cinched waist and midi-length silhouette. She accessorized the outfit with white strappy heels and dainty jewelry, allowing the dress to have its moment in the spotlight.
Longoria was joined on the red green carpet by several of her Dora co-stars, including Michael Pena, Isabela Moner, Eugenia Derbez, Jeffrey Wahlberg, Danny Trejo, Q’orianka Kilcher, Nicholas Coombe, Madeleine Madden and Joey Vieira.
Dora and the Lost City of Gold follows Dora (Moner) as she takes on her biggest adventure to date: high school. When her parents (Longoria, Peña) become trapped in the lost city of gold, she drops everything to save them from whatever lies ahead.
The live-action movie is directed by James Bobin (The Muppets), with Julia Pistor (A Series of Unfortunate Events), Eugenio Derbez (Overboard) and John G. Scotti (Alice Through the Looking Glass) serving as executive producers. The screenplay is written by Nicholas Stoller (The Muppets) and Matthew Robinson (The Invention of Lying).
Shout-out to Longoria for proving that there’s no such thing as too bright. Dora and the Lost City of Gold will hit theaters on August 9.
