It’s official: Emma Stone is getting married!
The Zombieland actress is engaged to boyfriend (of over two years) Dave McCary. The news broke Wednesday night when the Saturday Night Live writer revealed the happy development in an Instagram post.
In the photo, we see the (now) fiancés smiling as Stone shows off her new ring.
McCary kept the photo caption short and sweet with some simple heart emojis.
The 30-year-old Oscar winner began dating the Saturday Night Live writer and segment producer back in October 2017. And in August of this year, rumors quickly spread about a possible engagement when Stone was spotted out with a diamond ring on that finger.
However, during a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon a few days later, she revealed once and for all that the couple was not engaged—not yet anyway.
The duo has remained extremely private about their relationship and has rarely been photographed with one another. However, McCary did attend the 2019 Screen Actors Guild awards with his then-girlfriend. And while they didn’t walk the red carpet together, they did pose for a pic with Bradley Cooper while inside the venue.
Now that JLaw’s wedding is over, we’re happy we have another star-studded celeb wedding to look forward to.
