It's raining dogs, and Emma Stone's to blame.

The remake of 101 Dalmatians starring Glenn Close is well under way, and the La La Land actress can't contain her excitement.

On the red carpet for Thursday's premiere of Zombieland: Double Tap, the 30-year-old actress revealed that production is moving along, and that it's out of control.

"It's pretty trippy. It's wild," Stone told Entertainment Tonight. She said she often finds herself thinking, "This is bananas," on set.

Stone will play the younger version of the iconic fur-obsessed villain Cruella de Vil in Disney's live-action remake, titled Cruella. She revealed she's taking cues from Glenn Close, who portrayed the black-and-white haired devil in both the beloved 1996 live-action adaptation 101 Dalmatians and voiced the character in the original 1961 animated film.

"I think she's obviously the GOAT," Stone said of Close. "But I also have just loved the cartoon for a really long time."

"This leads to where she becomes true greatness," the Maniac actress said, and said Cruella comes before Close's story.

In August, Disney revealed the first look at Stone's Cruella. The movie also stars Emma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser and Joel Fry. The movie comes to theaters May 28, 2021.

Bananas? Trippy? Wild? We're doggone excited. (Sorry, had to.)
