Check Out the First-Look Pic of Emma Stone in Disney’s ‘Cruella’

It’s no secret, Disney has been incredibly busy making live-action remakes of our favorite classics. And over the weekend, we got a first look at another film in production, the remake of 101 Dalmatians starring Emma Stone.

The Oscar-winning actress is set to star as the iconic villain in Disney's upcoming movie Cruella, which is said to take place in the 1970s, giving us a look into the life of Cruella de Vil, the fur coat-obsessed antagonist from 1961's film (and the subsequent Glenn Close remake).

At the recent D23 Expo, one photo of the 30-year-old actress as Cruella de Vil quickly stole the show.

And so without further ado, here’s your first look at the new Cruella.

"Here’s your first look at Emma Stone as Cruella de Vil in Disney’s Cruella. The film, also starring Emma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser, and Joel Fry, comes to theaters May 28, 2021. #D23Expo," Disney captioned the post.

In the photo, we see Stone rocking Cruella de Vil's signature two-tone, black and white hair (duh) while holding the leashes of three Dalmatians. Also peep her two trusty henchmen in the background.

So even though we have a while to go before the film’s release, we can say our expectations are already incredibly high for this one.
