Talk about taking a red carpet risk.
When Emilia Clarke stepped out for the 91st annual Academy Awards, she not only debuted a brand-new ’do, but she apparently did it herself.
Revealing a brunette bob in a behind-the-scenes Instagram post, Clarke said, “Blondes have more fun eh?! Well I will see about that this fine #oscar2019 evening….. let the good times roll.”
Up until now, the Game of Thrones star had been sporting a blond lob, but she has officially departed from her Daenerys-inspired strands. (She also chopped off more than a few inches of length.) And according to the E! red carpet hosts, that chestnut brown came straight from a box.
