Spoiler Alert: Emilia Clarke Says the ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 8 Finale Will Be ‘Shocking’

Sure, the Oscars are great and all, but give us a Game of Thrones spoiler and our ears will perk right up. That's exactly what Emilia Clarke did when she caught up with Ryan Seacrest on tonight's red carpet before the 91st annual Academy Awards kick off.

When Clarke—who plays Daenerys Targaryen on GoT—was asked how fans will react to the final episode of the hit HBO show, coming later this year, she summed it up in one word: "Shock," she told Seacrest.

And apparently Clarke wasn't just talking about the very last episode. She added: “There's going to be some things in the last season that will shock people.”

Speaking of telling all, before her chat with Seacrest, Clarke took to Instagram to post a pre-Oscars selfie and spill a detail about her gorgeous gown. The hashtag? “#ilegitimatelycantpeeinthisdress”

LYMI, Emilia Clarke. Thanks for keeping it real—and also giving us even a tiny kernel of news about the final season of Game of Thrones.
