Dan Levy Flaunts a Kilt Suit at the 2020 Emmys, Giving a Nod to His ‘Schitt's Creek’ Character

Schitt's Creek fans were in for a treat at the 2020 Emmy Awards, all thanks to Dan Levy's brilliant fashion choice.

When the show's account posted photos of the cast, fans were quick to notice that the actor was wearing the exact same suit that his character, David Rose, wore when he exchanged vows with his partner, Patrick Brewer, on the show's finale.

The official Schitt's Creek account wrote, "Tonight, some #SchittsCreek cast and nominated team members have been able to gather for an #Emmys event in Toronto, adhering to Ontario’s COVID-19 guidelines. All in attendance have been in isolation since returning negative COVID-19 tests. Good luck, team!"

The actor is seen in the memorable Thom Browne suit and, of course, fans collectively lost it in the comments. A commenter wrote, "This outfit has me screaming [heart eyes emoji]." Another fan wrote, "So chic!!!!!"

The account shared a second photo of the main cast, which included a full-length view of Levy's look. The actor paired his outfit with black socks, black shoes and his signature glasses. But Levy's gray ensemble didn't end there.

In his Instagram Story and before the ceremony began, he shared a snap of his matching face mask.

Schitt's Creek had a historic night, becoming the first ever TV show in Emmys history to sweep the comedy categories. The series won seven awards, including Levy's wins for Best Supporting Actor - Comedy Series and Writing - Comedy Series.

Congrats to the talented cast!
