Just when we thought there was a Bachelor engagement in our near future (cough, Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph, cough), the couple went where no successful pairing has gone before and returned their Neil Lane engagement ring.
It all started last month when the couple appeared on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! At the end of the segment, the late-night host surprised them with a double halo engagement ring from Lane for whenever the time is right. *Hint, hint*
Since then, the 23-year-old speech pathologist wore a “Mrs. Underwood” jersey and temporarily vacated her hometown of Huntington Beach, California, so she could be closer to her 26-year-old boyfriend. Still, no engagement.
So, why hasn’t Underwood gotten down on one knee? According to this brand-new teaser for E!’s new show Ladygang, there’s a reason for the stalled proposal: Underwood returned the ring.
