In honor of Colton Underwood’s upcoming season, ABC released a clip from episode one that is making us question, well, everything. The video features the 26-year-old virgin meeting one of his contestants, Bri, who woos him with a fake (yep) Australian accent.
In the clip, Bri steps out of the limo and greets Underwood with her fake articulation. After discussing the origin of her accent, Bri heads into the mansion and straight into a confessional interview, where she reveals it was a ploy to get Underwood’s attention.
“I’m not really Australian, but you have to do what you can to stand out,” she says.
