Although they previously knew each other through mutual friends, their relationship was purely platonic…until 2018 when Schwarzenegger’s mom—Maria Shriver—set them up.
In August 2018, Chris and Katherine started hanging out with each other’s families. That’s when Pratt reportedly had dinner at Shriver’s home and met Schwarzenegger’s brother, Patrick.
After popping the question in January 2019, Pratt announced his engagement on Instagram. The Jurassic World star posted a photo of Schwarzenegger wearing a massive ring on that finger and wrote, “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”
The couple’s long-awaited public debut took place at the Avengers: Endgame premiere in April 2019, where they posed for pictures on the red carpet for the very first time.
In June 2019, Chris and Katherine tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Montecito, California. Both the bride and groom wore custom Armani ensembles, taking “his and hers” to an entirely new (and very stylish) level.
Yup! They recently welcomed a baby girl into their family.
