We Finally Have a Trailer for the New ‘Charlie’s Angels’ Movie—and There Have Been Some Major Changes

Good morning, angels…

Charlie's Angels, the iconic female crime-fighting agents, are back and clearly more badass than ever. At least, that’s what we’re getting from the new trailer.

In the first official clip for the new reboot, the Townsend Agency returns with a brand-new look. And while it’s not a direct sequel to the most recent films, the new adaptation is a continuation of the previous franchise.

The action-packed footage introduces fans to Sabina Wilson (Kristen Stewart), former spy Jane Kano (Ella Balinska) and a young systems engineer Elena Houghlin (Naomi Scott). The star-studded cast also includes Elizabeth Banks (who also directs), Patrick Stewart, Sam Claflin, Djimon Hounsou, Jonathan Tucker, Luis Gerardo Méndez and Noah Centineo. Wow.

While we will always love the iconic angels Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore (that reunion though), we have high expectations for the new girl gang.

Fans may also have noticed two major changes from the previous installments: the Townsend agency has expanded into an international organization, and "Bosley" (played by Banks) is now a rank, not a surname.

And did you hear that theme song? Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey—a trio like this is only fitting.

Charlie's Angels hits theaters on November 1, 2019.
