Here’s a First Look at the New ‘Charlie’s Angels’ Movie

These all-new photos show Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska in the highly anticipated Charlie’s Angels movie, and (disclaimer!) it looks really, really different. (Think jockey outfits and puffer jackets.)

Entertainment Weekly just released an exclusive first look at the Elizabeth Banks-directed film, which is a “continuation” of the story about our favorite all-female crime-fighting team.

The first photo in the slideshow shows Stewart (Sabina Wilson), Scott (Elena Houghlin), Balinska (Jane Kano) and Banks (Bosley) posing for the EW cover. The second pic features a still from the movie, while the third reveals Stewart and what appears to be an army of jockeys.

Another snap shows Stewart and Banks in a high-tech room, followed by a candid shot of Noah Centineo. (#Bless)

Banks has dubbed her version a continuation of the ’70s TV series, along with the 2000 Charlie’s Angels movie and its sequel, Charlie’s Angeles: Full Throttle. The film will take place more than 40 years after Charles Townsend first assembled his trio of Angels. But this time, Banks is hoping to provide a modern-day perspective to the story.

“It was important to me to make a movie about women working together and supporting each other, and not make a movie about their romantic entanglements or their mother they don’t call enough,” she said. “When I’m at work, I don’t talk about those things. I get on with my job. It felt important to do that for the Angels, to treat them with the respect their skill set demands.”

Welcome back, Angels. Charlie’s Angels will premiere on November 15.
