What better way to celebrate the release of a brand-new album than by singing the karaoke version of it?
On Thursday night, Céline Dion attended a karaoke and listening party in New York for her new album Courage.
During the event, the 51-year-old year old took the stage (which featured a TV screen with the lyrics to the new songs), and performed on of her new tracks “Flying On My Own.” Lucky for us, someone caught the iconic moment on video.
See the clip below.

In the video we see the audience members singing along to the new single, while the singer belted it out onstage. And of course, she did not disappoint.
For the occasion, the “My Heart will Go On” singer looked chic in a grandiose metallic silver outfit that featured a huge ruffled collar.
The new album was released at midnight early Friday morning and features 15 new tracks, in addition to “Flying On My Own.” If you didn’t know, Dion is currently on her Courage World Tour with upcoming shows in Montreal November 18 to 22, and in Toronto on December 9 and 10.
We just have one question, is it still considered karaoke if the performer is singing her own song?
