Was she channeling The Little Mermaid? Or was it The Birth of Venus? Either way, Cardi B didn’t disappoint with her meme-worthy red carpet look at the 2019 Grammy Awards. Behold, in all its aquatic glory:
If You Don’t Have People Carrying Your Oyster Dress, You’re Doing the Grammys Wrong

Of course, one doesn’t show up to the Grammys in an oyster dress without a full entourage. Cardi was fully prepared with a dedicated team trailing behind to literally hold up her gown. We can’t imagine wearing a dress that requires such a support system (we say as we sit on our couch in sweatpants). She topped off the ~lewk~ with 28-carat diamond earrings by Gismondi 1754, as one does.
In all seriousness, the gown is a vintage Thierry Mugler design from 1995—no big deal, though.
Taking the opportunity to make a statement in more ways than one, Cardi reunited with husband Offset pre-ceremony. Let’s just say the PDA left little to the imagination.
