Royal Rewear Alert: Camilla Parker Bowles Celebrates St. Patty’s Day Early in Her Favorite Green Caftan

The royals are no strangers to rewearing outfits. Kate Middleton has been known to recycle her Emilia Wickstead and Jenny Packham dresses from time to time and Meghan Markle is all about her Alexander McQueen blazer. The latest royal to join the outfit-so-nice-she-wore-it-twice club? Camilla Parker Bowles

The 71-year-old future queen consort stepped out for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration dinner at the Embassy of Ireland in London last night wearing the same mint green Moroccan caftan she wore last month. It’s an outfit very fitting for the occasion, if we do say so ourselves.

But this isn’t just your run-of-the-mill caftan. The Duchess of Cornwall’s getup is festooned with delicate embroidery and a beaded lattice trim. She accessorized the look with the mother-of-pearl Van Cleef & Arpels drop “Alhambra” earrings she wore back in February and topped it with nude pumps.

She originally rocked the caftan, which was reportedly a gift from the King of Morocco in 2011, while hosting a dinner for the British Asian Trust at Buckingham Palace with her husband Prince Charles. Since it was a relatively intimate event (by royal standards), there weren’t many pics captured…which leads us to believe we aren’t the only ones who choose outfits depending on how many times we’ve been photographed wearing them.

It was a surprising choice for the duchess then, but now we’re starting to think this Moroccan caftan might just become a sartorial staple in Parker Bowles’s wardrobe.

Hey, if the caftan fits, wear it on a monthly basis.
