Camilla Parker Bowles Inadvertently Shares Sneak Peek of Framed Meghan Markle Photo

Camilla Parker Bowles just offered a rare glimpse inside Prince Charles’s office, where they keep a special tribute to Meghan Markle.

This week, the Duchess of Cornwall, 74, gave an unofficial tour of Clarence House when she hosted a special reception. Bowles posed for pictures in Prince Charles’s office and shared a sneak peek of his picture collection, which includes a framed photo of Markle.

The black-and-white picture was taken during Prince Harry and Markle’s royal wedding in May 2018. It shows the bride and Prince Charles walking down the aisle at St. George’s Chapel. (FYI, Markle’s dad, Thomas, was supposed to give her away, but he was unable to attend.)

During the ceremony, Markle wore an elegant boat-neck wedding dress that was designed by Givenchy’s Clare Waight Keller. Her silk tulle veil featured hand-embroidered flowers along the trim to represent the 53 countries of the Commonwealth (though it’s hard to tell in the pic).

As Hello! magazine points out, the photo of Prince Charles and Markle isn’t the only one displayed at Clarence House. In another shot (see below), Bowles is standing in front of a different table with more iconic shots. While one pic shows Prince Harry at the 2014 Invictus Games, another photo features Prince Charles and Bowles posing in the gardens of Clarence House.

The latest event took place on International Women’s Day, which was no coincidence. Bowles celebrated the holiday by hosting three female rowers—Kat Cordiner, Abby Johnston and Charlotte Irving (AKA Team ExtraOARdinary)—who broke the record for rowing across the Atlantic in 42 days. Not to mention, the guests received a sneak peek at Prince Charles’s photo collection, so it was a win-win.
