Betty White’s Los Angeles Home Is Now For Sale (& Is Worth a Hefty Penny)

It’s official, Betty White’s luxurious home in Los Angeles is now on the market. But, if there are any buyers interested, just know the residence doesn’t come cheap.

On the Sotheby’s Realty website, The Golden Girls actress’s house is listed for $10.6 million. The Brentwood Park residency was purchased by the Hollywood icon and her husband, Allen Ludden, in the year 1968. In addition, the house listing says there are five bedrooms and six bathrooms across the 3,000-square-foot main house.

In December 2021, White passed away at the age of 99. She died in her home on New Year's Eve, just days away from her 100th birthday.

The actress and comedian had a career that spanned decades, appearing in work like The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Proposal and so much more. Aside from appearing onscreen, she also tried her hand at voice acting. White starred in a number of animated movies, including The Lorax (2012), Toy Story 4 (2019), Ponyo (2008) and the cartoon series Hercules (1998-1999).

This is the first time the property has been up for sale in more than 50 years. The real estate agency describes the estate as “lovingly cared for,” with views of the Getty Museum. However, any potential buyer is not allowed to enter the house for in-person viewing.

Marlene Okulick, a real estate agent at Sotheby’s Realty, gave very clear instructions for interested buyers: “There will be no interior access to the home. All showings are of the exterior only.” She also stated, “The property is being sold for land value.”

Betty’s house is a true beauty, but that’s quite the price tag.
