Ariana Grande’s Coachella Set Doubled as an *NSYNC Reunion

Last night, Ariana Grande closed out weekend one of Coachella with an epic headlining performance that doubled as an *NSYNC reunion. (Well, minus Justin Timberlake.)

That’s right, the “Thank u, next” singer enlisted four-fifths of the boy band—Joey Fatone, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick and Lance Bass—during yesterday’s set.

*NSYNC joined Grande onstage for a performance of “Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored,” followed by a nostalgic rendition of “Tearin’ Up My Heart.”

“I’ve been rehearsing my whole f****** life for this moment,” Grande told the crowd before introducing the boy band.

We’re not surprised by Timberlake’s absence, considering the singer just wrapped his “Man of the Woods” tour the night before in Connecticut. Nevertheless, the decision proved to be a good thing for Grande, who took over the verses in “Tearin’ Up My Heart” that are typically sung by Timberlake.

*NSYNC members weren’t the only guests to join Grande’s Coachella set. In fact, the 25-year-old singer’s 90-minute performance included a slew of celebrity cameos. Although she and Nicki Minaj experienced technical difficulties during their duet, they still managed to pull off two rockstar performances of “Side to Side” and “Bang Bang.”

Diddy and Mase were the last guests to join Grande onstage. They sang “Mo Money Mo Problems” in honor of late artists Mac Miller, Nipsey Hussle, 2Pac and Biggie.

Thank you, Ariana, we really needed this.
