Amy Schumer has a very important message for her fans. Well, a few very important messages. But perhaps the biggest of the three? Her new comedy special Amy Schumer Growing, is coming to Netflix March 19.
Yup, the 37-year-old actress and expecting mother made it clear that pregnancy hasn’t been all lying around and eating doughnuts. She’s actually been hard at work. In a short video announcement on Instagram, Schumer revealed that the special was filmed a few months back in front of a full house in Chicago.
In the quick clip, the comedian snacks on doughnuts and jokes about doing a big gender reveal for her baby (to fool her followers into thinking that’s what this video was about).
“We’re so excited to say that we don’t care what the gender is,” she says. “However the baby identifies is fine. Whatever the baby’s sexuality is…any way the baby identifies is cool with us, as long as it doesn’t identify as a DJ.” Talk about clever.
Not too much is known about the Netflix special yet, but we’re sure it will rival her previous ones (probably with less leather though). But really anything goes, because it’s Amy Schumer.
We’re expecting lots of pregnancy jokes, lots of laughs and of course, lots of doughnuts.
