Fox is encouraging viewers to break out their detective hats in honor of its latest revival announcement.

The network confirmed that it’s developing a reboot of America’s Most Wanted, which is set to premiere in March. The new series will be hosted by ABC News anchor Elizabeth Vargas, who will examine each case by consulting with a team of experts.

The TV show will follow a similar format as the original, introducing viewers to the nation’s most infamous cases and criminals. The new iteration of America’s Most Wanted will also feature several modern-day elements, like augmented reality, 3-D projections and social media elements, where viewers can submit tips and questions.

America’s Most Wanted originally ran for 25 seasons on Fox from 1988 to 2011. (It also aired on Lifetime in 2012, but it was a short-lived revival.) Not only did it help the FBI capture more than 1,100 criminals, but it also reunited more than 40 missing children with their families.

America’s Most Wanted empowered viewers to help America successfully capture some of its most dangerous fugitives,” said Rob Wade (president of alternative entertainment and specials at Fox). “By bringing back this groundbreaking series with new and effective tech-based crime-fighting tools and acclaimed journalist Elizabeth Vargas, we hope to continue [original host] John Walsh’s long-standing mission to be a powerful voice for crime victims everywhere.”

Will Vargas live up to Walsh’s greatness? Only time will tell.
