Aldi Is Releasing Heart-Shaped Cheese for Valentine's Day, and We've Never Been More in Love with Lactose

We wrote this cheesy poem for our Valentine: Roses are red, violets are blue, cheddar is better than any sonnet from you.

Thankfully, Aldi is making our heart sing (they always do) with their newest offering: a Valentine’s Day cheese assortment. The four cheeses (two heart-shaped and covered in red wax) are available starting January 30 from select Aldi locations (there are 1,800 Aldi stores in the U.S., FYI).

The two heart-shaped varieties are the Happy Farms Preferred Mature Cheddar Classic English Cheese and Happy Farms Preferred Wensleydale with Raspberries and White Chocolate, while the two circular cheeses are the Happy Farms Preferred Wensleydale With Cranberries and Happy Farms Preferred Creamy Cinnamon Cheese with Raisins and Diced Apple. They’ll retail for $4 each.

Sure, a fancy schmancy dinner reservation on February 14 would be fine, but a decked-out charcuterie board with HEART-SHAPED cheeses? That’s next-level love.
