The Best Way to Serve Ice Cream to a Crowd

We all scream for simplicity

You’re hosting 15 5-year-olds and it’s time for dessert. You promised ice cream, but the serving of said ice cream is proving more difficult than you had planned. It’s either too frozen (read: stuck in the carton) or too melty (read: ughhhh). Next time, save yourself the stress and follow these super-simple instructions for serving your favorite flavor to a crowd.

What you need: Ice cream, an ice cream scooper, a cupcake tray and cupcake liners.

What you do: Before guests arrive, fill a cupcake tray with liners. Take ice cream out of the freezer and let it soften until it can be scooped easily. Scoop individual portions into each liner and place back in the freezer. When you’re ready for dessert, simply take the tray out of the freezer and you’ve got pre-portioned scoops, ready to be devoured.

Your clean, non-sticky hands will thank you.
