How to Peel a Hard-Boiled Egg in 10 Seconds Without Even Touching It

All you need is Tupperware

eggpeelhero1

You have three loads of laundry to finish and three episodes of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt to watch. You know what you don’t have time to do? Stand over the sink peeling hard-boiled eggs for 20 minutes. Here’s how to peel them in ten seconds.

What you need: A shallow plastic Tupperware container, cold water and those eggs you just hard-boiled.

What you do: Place the eggs into the container, then fill it halfway with cold water. Seal the container, then shake vigorously for ten seconds (over the sink to prevent any spills) while holding the lid in place with your hands. Remove the eggs from the water and watch the shells slide right off.

How it works: Knocking the eggs against the inside of the container cracks the shells, while the force of the water loosens them. Avocado deviled eggs, anyone?
