Zendaya Went for Simple & Stunning in Two Valentino Dresses at the Critics' Choice Awards

Nothing brings us a feeling of euphoria quite like Zendaya's award show garb.

The 24-year-old actress dressed for the Critics Choice Awards this week in two distinct designs from Maison Valentino. She shared the first gown on her Instagram, saying: "Thank you @criticschoice for a beautiful evening and the honor of the @seeherofficial award, lucky to just be next to so many artists I admire."

The show-stopping piece included "an ivory silk crêpe top and fluorescent orange scuba, organza, tundra and taffetas skirt," according to Valentino. And if the skirt wasn't resplendent enough, Zendaya also wore Bulgari jewelry, with Diva’s Dream multi-colored gemstone earrings, paired with Fiorever pink gold rings. She was styled by Law Roach, with hair by Ursula Stephen and makeup by Sheika Daley.

While Zendaya proved that orange is the new black, she was also the recipient of the SeeHer Award, which recognizes "a woman who embodies the values set forth by the SeeHer movement to push boundaries, defy stereotypes and acknowledge the importance of authentic portrayals of women across the entertainment landscape."

The award-winning actress accepted this esteemed award in her second Valentino piece of the night—a black, spaghetti-strap gown adorned with sequins.

Valentino shared Zendaya's acceptance speech, saying: "Zendaya is honored with the @criticschoice #SeeHer award. @zendaya accepted the special SeeHer Award at this year’s Critics Choice Awards (@criticschoice) wearing an evening dress from #ValentinoRomanPalazzo #ValentinoDiVas Stylist: @luxurylaw."

Zendaya recently became the youngest woman to win the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series (and it doesn't look like she'll be slowing down any time soon).
